Opening weekend was a humbling experience to put it mildly. Rather than being a tip sheet it turned into more of a horses to avoid sheet. So when the dark days are over I have to start digging myself out of the hole I created. I have to confess I have never been very good at public handicapping early in a meet. I tend to have more success once some trends develop, and since switching to Polytrack Keeneland has been harder than ever.
