Based on what I observed this weekend these are some horses that I wont be using in the top spot on BC day.
Juvenile Fillies
Appealing Zophie - Not sure if anyone believed she could win the BC but her latest effort confirms it.
Juvenile
Horse Greeley - Never thought he was all that, and off this performance he likely isnt even going to the BC.
Mile
Aragorn - Beyer fig dropped off considerably, he may be over the top. Plus every horse he's beaten this year has done terribly when shipping east.
Silent Name - Curious ride but terrible result
Miesque's Approval - Winning run comes to an end and its unlikely that this old warrior will be able to raise his game in 4 weeks.
Sprint
Silver Train - Was unlikely to go anyway, this seals it.
War Front - Hard to envision him ever getting in front of Henny Hughes
FM Turf
Honey Ryder - This race wasnt good enough to compete with the Euro's and her stablemate.
Film Maker - Basically has no excuse to have lost again. She will likely be in the frame on BC day but she isnt a winner.
Distaff
Happy Ticket - She'll run better at CD but she isnt good enough.
Balletto - She should run in the money but man does she ever hang badly. I think she lacks the mental ability to win at this stage.
Turf
No one eliminated themselves from consideration this week. The horses who lost to English Channel werent really BC considerations anyway.
Classic
Dylan Thomas - This weeks most obvious observation

Regarding the Juvenile division:
I agree that Circular Quay will still be one to watch on BC day despite his loss this weekend. It was his 1st at a route(?)- the Polytrack may not have helped him either. His running style is a bit worrisome considering the BC will be a large field, but he has talent and class. IMO, Great Hunter is more likely to run in the frame but not win on BC day. (But I could be totally wrong about that.) I think the synth surface actually may have aided him and the ultra-quick tracks of SoCal where he was running previously may not have been his best surface in terms of his style. And lastly, what do make of Stormello? He sure looked good beating the highly regarded Principle Secret in the Norfolk...
Regarding the Juvenile- what do you think of Stormello? He looked pretty good defeating Principle Secret who was highly regarded prior to the race. It was also Stormello's first start around 2 turns which may bode well for him at the BC distance...
